Counters Are In!

As is the sink, faucet, disposal, and the tile!  Also, the metal rim spanning the two floor types was installed in two places.  Also the wooden columns were covered and painted.  Quite a bit of touch up was done.

Yes, I was gone for the week again, but the workers were only here one day, so you are not missing too much.

The counter tops look great.  They are dark and offset all the white quite nicely.  The blue tile is hidden behind cardboard right now, but I am sure it is great, as well. 

The best news is that I can start putting things in the cabinets (not drawers)!!  The hardware still is not on the drawers/cabinets, so we can fill up anything that will not get a pool of sawdust in it when drilled.  The hardware should be in next week sometime.  The electrician and plumber should still be coming out to finish up next week, too.

Furniture/electronics are being acquired at this point.  So far, the TV has been purchased, three square black leather bar stools, the TV table, and an end table.  We are still looking for two small sized black leather arm chairs, and I think the purchasing will be complete.
